[TaskandPurpose.com] A cadet at the US Military Academy in West Point, New York is being hailed as a hero after he and his father pulled a man from a wrecked car, stepping over sparking power lines as they did, right before the vehicle burst into flames. "When I saw the car with a live power line sparking, I knew I had to act..." Larry Pickett Jr., a West Point sophomore or yearling, said in a statement. "I'm thankful I could help get him out safely, and even more grateful that everyone is okay. God is good!" According to The Flyover podcast, the cadet's father, Larry Senior wrote on Facebook: "Thank You Jesus that this man will live to see another day. Just after midnight, I watched in awe as my son ignored the crackling power lines, and ran toward a burning vehicle to save a stranger. This is more than leadership, it's a testament to the character West Point is building in him: A readiness to go into the line of fire for anyone who needs it."...
