During a July 29 State Department press briefing, a reporter asked for an update about "millions of dollars' worth of contraceptives stocked in Belgium that are due to be incinerated in France [...] I know that the Belgian government is trying to find alternative solutions. Is the US government ready to find alternative solutions or are they destined to be destroyed?"
