Joyce Hargrave Felton recently jumped into action when she noticed a couple in the Walmart line in front of her in Canton, Texas, struggling to pay. Rather than ignore their plight, she stepped in to offer profound kindness.

Ben Hendley, a witness to Felton's goodness, recounted the events in a Facebook post that is capturing attention.

The couple Felton helped was attempting to buy Christmas gifts for their kids, but the husband's card was declined. That's when Felton spoke up, according to Fox Business.

"You know what? It's Christmas!" she said. "I'll pay for it!"

The man was embarrassed and his wife explained that the cost of the gifts was very high. When the wife attempted to pay, she, too, found that her card was declined.
