Alcoholism and Depression
Although her father was a Jew, their family did not believe in the existence of God. Any talk about religion was not welcome in their house. So, the woman grew up with little knowledge about God.
She then entered the industry of construction and design firms. But, her routine of work and sleep started to weigh her down. As a result, she turned to alcohol for some relief.
Every time she went home from work, she would finish bottles of alcohol in just a night. She shared, "Every bottle I finished, I was sinking deeper and deeper. It opened a fountain of darkness."
She quit her job and drank for a whole week. She knew she was drowning in alcohol, and she knew she couldn't find the strength to stop on her own until her sister came over one day and made a gesture of love. It helped her to stop drinking finally.
However, the addiction was not yet over. After she stopped the alcohol, she heard voices—constant, repetitive talk of harm and violence.
The Name of Yeshua
But, God did not overlook her. He used her sister, who was already a Believer, to show her a way out of her situation.
The Jewish woman went with her sister to a Bible group one day. After sharing her story, the minister offered to lead her into prayer.
"From the moment when I said the name of Yeshua, and I confessed my sins, all the voices disappeared," she claimed.
From then on, she embarked on a healing journey with God. All the weight she had been carrying in her heart and her soul started to lift away.
"Before Yeshua, I was very sad. After Yeshua opened my heart, to let people in, to share with people this life, I am happy."
