"When I get to celebrate the principles of God, when I get to celebrate the things that God's done in our lives, … that, to me, is the main thing that we want to do. [It is to] continue to be intentional with every story we get to tell and every bit of airtime." -Dustin Tavella

Dustin Tavella captivated the hearts of millions since he contended in America's Got Talent. He showed tricks with exemplary themes spreading family, hope, and generosity. And in his final act, he encouraged the audience about the power of giving. The Christian contender stressed how a "small act of kindness can go a really long way" incorporated with his tricks.

In August, Dustin also inspired the audience how good can still come out of a messy life. He performed with his two young adopted sons.

In an interview with YouTube personality Ruslan, Dustin also revealed his goal in joining AGT.

"When I get to celebrate the principles of God, when I get to celebrate the things that God's done in our lives, ... that, to me, is the main thing that we want to do," he told Ruslan. "[It is to] continue to be intentional with every story we get to tell and every bit of airtime."

No Powers, Purely Creativity

And when asked about his opinion on skeptical Christians criticizing him doing magic tricks, he says he doesn't have powers.

"This is just me trying to have fun and kind of create wonder for people," he assured.

Finally, Dustin won the AGT champion title this year with a $1 million prize.

"Thank you guys so much," he said after winning. "This is absolutely amazing. I never thought that I would be here. ... I love you guys so much."

America's Got Talent Journey

Further, the AGT 2021 Winner revealed to Entertainment Tonight that he had auditioned for the variety show multiple times before making it.

"This is what I was hoping for. This is what I was praying for," Dustin told Entertainment Tonight. "... I am so blessed."

Moreover, Dustin and his wife have also been serving in homeless and crisis pregnancy ministries for years.

"We just want to help empower people, and we want to be a bridge between the Church and the not-church, he said. "To get the people not in church into the Church, and to get the people in the Church, outside of the walls." Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
