The lyrics of the song are all relatable and gives off [some] comedic relief. It mentions his desire to return to church, to hug his friends, to touch his face and even go to work. He jokingly also sang about wanting his kids to go back to school, "I love 'em but oh man!"

West posted on his Facebook, "We've all been living that #QuarantineLife. So, I wrote a song about it. Had to release a little bit of the crazy! Hope it puts a smile on your face. PS: my wife is still mad about the lyrics in the 2nd verse."

The verse goes, "Every day my girl's complaining 'cause they closed the salon.' Now she's looking like a stranger to me. I always thought she was a blonde, but she not."

Many were uplifted by the song as one viewer commented, "Matthew you just brightened my whole day. This was something I think we all needed."

Along with the release of 'Quarantine Life' comes his latest album, "Brand New." It [features] 14 songs that remind us that if we are in Christ, we are a new creation. Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
