Still No Suspect in Murder of Jewish MIT Professor"...This shooting comes after a shooter at Brown University opened fire on a classroom on Saturday where the professor who usually occupies the study room that was shot up is Jewish and pro-Israel..." -Laura Loomer, Independent investigative journalist
Nuno F.G. Loureiro, 47, was found by his upstairs neighbor, Louise Cohen, after she "heard multiple gunshots" and saw Loureiro "Loureiro lying on his back inside the apartment building's entrance," when she investigated. Cohen told a reporter, "I can't sleep now. This family is so amazing. I can't imagine anyone wanting to kill him." Brookline Chief of Police Jennifer Paster posted on social media: "This remains an active and ongoing homicide investigation. In order to protect the integrity of the investigation, we are limited in the information we can share at this time and ask for the community's understanding and patience..." The homicide of Loureiro comes just days after a gunman opened fire at Brown University in Rhode Island, killing two students and injuring 9 others. Independent investigative journalist Laura Loomer noted the similarities between the monstrosities in a post on X: "@MIT professor of Nuclear science and physics Nuno Loureiro was just shot and killed at his home in Brookline, Massachusetts on Monday evening. He is reportedly Jewish and pro-Israel. "Police say the shooter is on the run. This shooting comes after a shooter at Brown University opened fire on a classroom on Saturday where the professor who usually occupies the study room that was shot up is Jewish and pro-Israel. "Is someone ambushing elite universities on the East Coast trying to murder pro-Israel and Jewish professors during Hanukkah?..." Loomer also pondered whether or not there were two shooters, or if it was perhaps the same person committing both crimes. Fox News had reported that multiple students at Brown University said that the gunman had yelled "allahu akbar" before shooting. At any rate, it's obvious—especially after the horrible jihadist attack at Bondi beach this past weekend—that some Islamist extremists are using this Hanukkah season to commit atrocities against our Jewish brothers and sisters. Please join me in praying for their protection, and that God would reach Muslims everywhere with dreams and visions of Jesus, causing them to turn to the Lord and to forsake the violent Islam.
