The guide instructs individuals to avoid using gendered terms like "uncle" or "aunt" and to use "parent's sibling" instead ... For instance, it recommended replacing "husband" and "wife" with "spouse," "partner," or "significant other," and using "flight deck" instead of "cockpit."
