The woman in the video, posted to the organization's social media platforms, explains the word "virginity" was "created simply to control and shame people" and is discriminatory against those who do not identify as heterosexual.

"But where does that definition leave queer people?" the woman asks, going on to explicitly discuss various forms of sexual engagement.

The woman in the Planned Parenthood promo video also argues there is a "double standard" when it comes to sex and virginity as it pertains to males and females.
