The Twitter account of former President Donald Trump has been restored after Elon Musk, Twitter's new owner and CEO, hosted a poll on the issue which attracted more than 15 million votes.

The move to reinstate Trump follows a number of other high profile accounts being restored in recent days.

Musk tweeted Friday that Twitter has restored the accounts of left-wing comedian Kathy Griffin (banned for impersonating Musk), Canadian philosopher Jordan Peterson (banned for "misgendering" actress Ellen "Elliot" Page), and conservative Christian satire site The Babylon Bee (banned for "misgendering" Biden administration health official Richard "Rachel" Levine).

Musk has previously said that reinstatement decisions would be made after development of a "clear process" guided by a "content moderation council with widely diverse viewpoints"... Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
