"Earlier, as Russian forces approached Enerhodar, thousands of local unarmed civilians came out as a massive crowd to try to block their approach multiple times," The Kyiv Independent tweeted Friday, sharing a photo of a legion of Ukrainians blocking a road.

"Unarmed Ukrainian citizens have been filmed confronting Russian soldiers across the country amid the invasion," Euro News reports in an article titled "'Shoot, we are unarmed': Verified videos show Ukrainians confronting Russian soldiers...

"Verified social media videos show a number of citizens protesting in the faces of armed troops, and blocking roads through cities," Euro News reports.

"In Melitopol, unarmed Ukrainians are confronting the Russian soldiers. They are chanting ‘Occupants' and pushing the vehicles back," Franak Viačorka, an advisor to Belarusian human rights activist and politician Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, tweeted, embedding a viral video, which has been viewed more than 5.7 million times since its posting on Tuesday.

Viačorka has continued to tweet video similar scenes of citizens in other regions of Ukraine, such as Novopskov, Kherson, Energodar, Chernihiv, and Berdiansk. Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
