The "Heart of Gold" singer wrote an open letter Monday with the demand to deal with "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast for "fake information" on COVID vaccines that he claimed could cause death to anyone who believes it.

"They can have Rogan or Young. Not both," he wrote. And Spotify picked Rogan.

"We regret Neil's decision to remove his music from Spotify, but hope to welcome him back soon," a Spotify spokesperson told The Hollywood Reporter.

The popular streaming platform said it balances "safety for listeners and freedom for creators," noting that they have removed over 20,000 podcast episodes related to COVID since the beginning of the pandemic.

Rogan, a comedian and UFC commentator, is the most popular podcaster in the world with an exclusive deal with Spotify.

In a follow-up letter Wednesday, Young said Spotify represents 60 percent of his streaming revenue globally, adding that he has never received so much love as he did this week

"I sincerely hope that other artists and record companies will move off the Spotify platform and stop supporting Spotify's 'deadly misinformation' about COVID," Young said. Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
