Burns, who was tabbed by Time Magazine as "Donald Trump's Top Pastor" and named one of the "16 People Who Shaped the 2016 Presidential Election," recently announced that he is running for United States Congress in the 4th district in South Carolina in 2022 to help reverse the darkness over America cast by the leftist, socialist and communist agenda that has taken over the country.

And Burns isn't just talking about the Democrats. He is also talking about the "apathetic" Republicans who have allowed this demonic plan to infest America.

"We cannot afford to let this happen to us," says Burns, who appeared on the cover of the October issue of Charisma magazine. "In mere months, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have unleashed their far-left, communist agenda across America. It has infected local, state and federal governments, our education system, our military, our sports and our culture. The results are palpable. Crime is up, human trafficking has escalated, drugs are pouring in over our southern border and inflation is skyrocketing. These Democrats use identity politics, false racism claims, red flag counterculture and the erosion of our sacred 1st Amendment. They pit Americans against each other, and now it is us vs. them. It is a two-tier system, especially the vaccinated vs. the un-vaccinated.

"But even worse, do-nothing Republicans are allowing these Democrats to reimage America's fabric. This new authoritarian re-imaging of America aims to hand power to a permanent ruling class which will we see the total subjugation of every citizen. Their hypocrisy is clear—'rules for thee and not for me'. Our Republican leaders have been silent. Where are the Republicans who represent deep red districts in Congress? Why are they so apathetic? All of America deserves a fighter with a proven track record for standing up boldly and waging the battle for our God-given rights. All of America deserves a member of Congress who won't fold under pressure of the threats of a political party, the corrupt media and special interest groups.

"President Donald Trump gave me a voice and a platform to work for America, which is a true blessing from God. I owe it to President Trump and my fellow South Carolinians, to my family and to my country to continue to lead, speak out and boldly advocate for the greatest nation on Earth that we call the United States of America."
