While the 27-year-old Laura Hough was pregnant with twins Neve and Louie, she faced a terrifying situation. Doctors revealed to the first-time mom that her daughter Neve wasn't getting enough nutrients in her womb. They expected that she was not going to make it.

"For a good few weeks I was carrying them I kept getting told by the hospital that she wasn't going to make it," Laura recalled.

At seven months into her pregnancy, she was rushed for an emergency C-section. Laura gave birth to twins Louie, weighing 3 lbs and Neve, weighing only 1 lb. The twins were born premature and Neve was very tiny, but she showed her fighting spirit.

"When they did come out she didn't need any oxygen at all," Laura said of Neve. "She was fine."

It was a miracle! Despite the doctors' expectations, Neve defied all the odds and showed everyone how mighty she is.

"They've never seen a baby like her, so small without having to have any oxygen or anything to help her breathe she's just doing it all on her own," Neve's proud mom explained. "She's smaller than a baby's doll but she's doing so well, she's unbelievable."

Louie also faced a scary situation, both his lungs collapsed.

"Both of his lungs collapsed because he had air in them," Laura explained. "So he ended up receiving treatment to drain the air out of his lungs."

For two weeks, they both received proper treatments separately. After they were both well and safe, they were finally reunited for the first time after birth. When the two babies were placed side by side in the same incubator, the two cuddled up and it was the sweetest thing ever!

Laura and her husband Chris Carey captured the sweet moment on camera and millions were touched! Even the doctors were moved by the twin's inspiring story!

"All the doctors who come and see her have a soft spot for her, and they're made up with the both of them," Laura said. "They said they'll miss them when they leave because they need more little fighters like that to keep them going." Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
