China: Hundreds Of COVID-19 Patients Recover and Are Discharged from Hospital

...let's continue to pray for this global crisis. That more patients will continue to recover and be discharged from the hospital free from coronavirus. Pray that the death rate and confirmed cases will immensely drop...

[GODTV.com] The news headlines are flooded with the rising number of confirmed cases of COVID-19. But here's the good news, a lot of patients have also recovered from the disease. And recently, hundreds of patients were discharged in China! (Image: via GODTV)

According to the report from Xinhua Net, the last patient infected with COVID-19 in an infectious disease hospital was discharged last Friday. So on March 13, the medical workers took a group photo with the last person in front of Jinzhong Hospital, a hospital found in north China's Shanxi Province. As a result, the recovery rate has now reached 100 percent. They are now free from coronavirus.

Whilst on the other hand, in mainland China, 838 patients have also recovered from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). All of them left the hospital on Sunday, reported the National Health Commission.

The end of Sunday was a breath of fresh air for medical workers in China. Overall, more than 67,000 have already been discharged from hospitals.

And as of Sunday, there was a total of 80,860 people confirmed to have been infected with COVID-19. In that tally, more or less only three percent have died from the disease. To set the facts straight, even the World Health Organization "stated the death rate was 3.4 percent."

However, doctors say that although the death rate is lower, it should still not be taken lightly. Because the virus, according to The Conversation, is not "just the flu." The elderly and people with underlying conditions are most likely prone to the danger resulting in death. And countries with a higher population of elderly people are most likely to be more severely affected. Also, the rate will depend on "countries' health systems and containment responses," reported The Conversation.

Currently, the novel coronavirus has no vaccine. But nevertheless, several nations have already tried to experiment and discover what could kill such a deadly virus.

So let's continue to pray for this global crisis. That more patients will continue to recover and be discharged from the hospital free from coronavirus. Pray that the death rate and confirmed cases will immensely drop. Until one day, news headlines will no longer be flooded with bad news, but good things like "The World Is Now Free From COVID-19."
