"You have an appointment with God tonight. This is your night to come into a relationship with Jesus Christ," Evangelist Greg Laurie said.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the SoCal Harvest. It's the longest-running large-scale evangelistic event in American history.

The first night of the event brought 28,000, including a declaration of faith by 2,100 people.

"You don't clean your life up and come to Christ. You come to Christ and He will clean your life up," Laurie said to those in attendance.

Throughout the event, his messages hinged on the record high levels of suicide, addition and anxiety in America—especially the younger generations.

Laurie said, "I have hope tonight for the hopeless generation. I have hope for the millennials, for Generation Z and baby boomers."

Laurie tweeted his message for the final evening of SoCal Harvest would be "Heaven, Hope and Happiness!"

He said, "Life with Jesus is Endless Hope, Life without Him is a Hopeless End."

When asked what's changed over the last 30 years, the Southern California pastor said a lot has changed, but there's one thing that remains constant.

"Our music has changed. Our graphics have changed. Technology has changed. But here's what has not changed, that moment that the Gospel is proclaimed," he said.

The Harvest team wants to reach over one million people and see 100,000 declarations of faith through crusades in Southern California, Boise, Idaho, and Los Angeles over the next 20 months.

"The only hope for America is a spiritual awakening, and the only hope is the message of the Gospel because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever," Laurie said... Subscribe for free to Breaking Christian News here
