Julian Assange Dragged from Embassy, Arrested in London under US Charges of Conspiracy

(England) — [Timesofisrael.com] Police in London arrested WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy Thursday for failing to surrender to the court in 2012, shortly after the South American nation revoked his asylum.

Assange has been living at the embassy since 2012 when he sought refuge to avoid extradition by Sweden over a sexual assault case.
